Reputation is gained from a variety of sources including attacks, defenses and Jobs. Reputation is used to determine a player's maximum level. Players can choose when to level up, granting them additional Life. You can choose not to level up, effectively hiding their potential true level.
Reputation is gained from a variety of actions as shown below -
- Attacking another player awards a large amount of Reputation with both players stats and FFM of the attack being able to increase reputation gains.
- Hospitalizing other players awards roughly ¾ths of the normal Reputation in exchange for making the attacked player have a longer hospital timer.
- Mugging a player awards roughly ½th of the normal Reputation in exchange for stealing a portion of the attacked players's cash in hand. (Does not affect cash in the bank and in private vaults)
- Completing Jobs will award you some amount of reputation, depending on the completed Job.
- Winning a defense against a attacking player, however reputation gain is minimal.
Reputation can be divided into two types:
- Personal Reputation which is gained by the player and only affects the player.
- Cartel Reputation which is the reputation that is gained through various sources that the cartel uses for various perks upgrades.
