Territory Wars V2 rebuilds how wars are fought: node theaters, Control, sealed rosters, War Doctrine specials, and capped allied aid (including Medics). Full mechanics, perks, rewards, and Capo strategy: Territory Wars V2.
Territory Wars are managed through the War HQ, a dedicated section of the Cartel page. Within the War HQ, players can access the Territory Map, which provides a full overview of all claimable regions in Bolivia. Cartels can claim multiple Territories, provided they have unlocked the necessary Cartel Perks.
Each Territory may grant a randomly assigned perk to the owning Cartel. These perks refresh weekly, every Sunday shortly after midnight in La Paz Time (LPT), and are awarded to Cartels daily. Perks can level up, level down, or disappear entirely if their level drops to zero, creating a dynamic landscape of opportunity and competition. Each territory owned also rewards a set amount of Reputation daily.
To initiate a Territory War, a Cartel must:
Wars are initiated by selecting an eligible Territory and clicking “Start War”, which costs Cartel Reputation.
There are two goals depending on whether you are the aggressor or the defender in a territory War:
During a Territory War, slots open and are populated with the defending Cartels members organised by their Battle Stats from highest to lowest. Slots may be taken by succesfully attacking the current slot owner.
For each slot owned by the attacking Cartel, the War Score increases by 1 per second, whereas each slot owned by a defender reduces the War Score by 1 per second, leading to a tug of war until either the 3 day war period has ended or the attackers have reached their required War Score to take the Territory
Each Territory may provide one perk that benefits the owning Cartel. Perks vary in strength and category, and often scale by region, with territories closer to the center often holding the most valuable perks.
Perks fall into several types, with the base benefit shown. The benefits of each perk doubles with each level achieved.
Each item-based perk includes a loot table with weighted probabilities for specific items, and may only appear in designated regions of Bolivia. Perks are capped at Level 5, and leveling behavior is randomized weekly.
Control of Territories is central to Cartel advancement. Because perks refresh and shift weekly, Cartels must plan both offensively and defensively, targeting high-value Territories while ensuring they maintain their current holdings. The dynamic nature of perk rotation encourages frequent engagement and strategic diplomacy between Cartels.
Ideally, assuming a Cartel has the manpower to hold it, Cartels should prefer to hold territories closer to the center of La Paz to maximise their benefits.
